Hello and Welcome to Bubbles and Barbie! The adventures of Margaret and her look-a-like Barbie. 

 

Barbie is a Mattel Fashionista 150 doll (Margaret is a Human Fashionista 1986). Barbie was given to Margaret by a coworker in the fall of 2020 as a birthday gift due to their uncanny resemblance. Since then, we have cultivated a closet of matching outfits mostly sourced from Etsy or Mattel. We are always on the lookout for fun outfits and ways to match!

 

We love champagne (hence the Bubbles in our name). Our favorite is Gold by Mawby, a winery in Leelanau, Michigan and we are guilty of buying it by the case. But, we do not discriminate and can be found drinking lots of inexpensive bubbles from Costco or alternatively champagne that cuts a little too deeply into our cheese budget. It's all about moderation, after all, and we want to appreciate the finer things in life.  

 

Travel is also something we love to do. With our passports and global entry,  Barbie has been to the Caribbean and South America and has even more plans to travel the globe.

 

Meeting new people and trying new things brings us great joy. Together, we can do great things....We just need a fabulous outfit and glass of champagne to get it done!
